We are enterprising by nature and by making use of our talents and skills, we get the things we need and achieve the goals we set for ourselves. For this, a person is thought to be successful if he has overcome the challenges in his journey called life. There are some people that have developed the skill of showing no emotion or attachment in the things that he does, be it in his personal life or for a living. Some people do this maybe to get through the experience easier or to avoid being hung up on the experiences that are not desirable. The art of showing no emotion or bluffing is the skill that a player needs to survive and thrive in the world of poker.
A lot of people are interested or curious of how the game of poker is played or why the players bluff their way around the game? Some thought playing poker started out during the gold rush era where the people were not happy with their living conditions, thereby masking their emotions to get through. As you might have noticed, cowboy movies had characters showing no emotion as scenes of playing poker rolled.

Each person is borne with instinct in order to survive. This instinct is evident in the poker table, where each and every player race against themselves to win and bluff their way through the game. The player bets on the hands he has without showing any signs of emotion in fear of giving in to the excitement of winning.
Poker then is not the game for the weak and soft-hearted.
